The RE.GUARD 2.0 water flow monitor is installed in the water supply pipeline. It continuously monitors the flow, pressure, and temperature in the water supply system using integrated sensors located at the installation location.

When preset thresholds are exceeded, the RE.GUARD 2.0 water flow monitor shuts off the pipeline using a built-in motorized ball valve, displays a warning message, and transmits it wirelessly.

The sensors are suitable for the early detection of the following leaks:

• Large leaks in water pipes, such as burst pipes
• Very small water leaks, such as small cracks in pipes, also known as drip leaks

The leak prevention feature of the RE.GUARD 2.0 water flow monitor does not provide complete protection against water damage or prevent leaks from occurring. However, by properly configuring parameters and thresholds based on the type of equipment and the number of occupants in the building, leaks can be detected at an early stage, thereby reducing the likelihood of significant water damage and minimizing subsequent costs.

To reliably detect leaks, particularly drip leaks, all installed check valves (downstream of the water meter, downstream of the water supply branch, and on the water taps) must be functioning properly. Ensure they are regularly maintained.

The RE.GUARD 2.0 water flow regulator is suitable for use in indoor drinking water systems. The device will operate correctly at ambient temperatures from 5°C to 40°C, and in exceptional cases, for short periods, at temperatures from 0°C to 60°C. The device must be protected from freezing.
