The sliding sleeve joining technique allows for permanent and leak-proof connections of PE-X pipes without the need for an O-ring, simplifying installation.
FUSAPEX, the REHAU electrofusion sleeve made of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X), can be used at temperatures up to +95 °C. FUSAPEX applications range from district heating and domestic hot water supply to heating systems, as well as the transport of chemicals, compressed air, inert gases, high-temperature water, and much more.
The SMARTFUSE PE electric welding sleeve is suitable for temperatures up to +50 °C and offers a cost-effective and chemical-resistant connection for RAUPEX and RAUFRIGO pipes in larger sizes and for special applications. With the threaded collar, it is possible to create a branch line in pressurized pipelines without interrupting ongoing production.
