To ensure optimal sound insulation, use only RAUPIANO PLUS sound-absorbing pipe clamps during installation. RAUPIANO PLUS sewer pipes must be installed without internal stress.
The patented sound-absorbing clamp consists of a support and compression section. Typically, one clamp per floor is sufficient.
- Place the compression clamp around the pipe and snap it into place
- Mount the support clamp to the wall
The clamp's locking mechanism contains a spacer that prevents the clamp from becoming too tight on the pipe. This reduces acoustic coupling.
- Open the support clamp and install the pipe with the compression clamp
After installation, the compression section rests completely on the support clamp, ensuring optimal sound insulation.
