The sealing flange is suitable for sealing RAUVIPEX pipe penetrations in walls with both pressurized and non-pressurized water, up to a water column of 3 m (FA 40-B) or 5 m (FA 80-B). The sealing insert consists of a rubber gasket and sealing plates with stainless steel (V2A) screws. The screw grease and rubber gasket comply with KTW recommendations. When installing in a drilled hole, the hole must be pre-sealed with epoxy resin.
The REHAU sealing flange is not suitable as a fixed point; it is intended exclusively for the elastic sealing of RAUVIPEX pipes. Slight axial movement of the RAUVIPEX pipe is permissible.
RAUVITHERM pipes cannot be sealed with this flange due to their corrugated surface. For this purpose, use the appropriate wall sealing ring.
