The REHAU sealing collar is a double seal for RAUVIPEX pipes in wall or floor penetrations with unpressurised and pressurised water up to a 2 m water column for installation with expanding mortar or in in-situ concrete components.

The sealing collar is suitable for sealing wall or floor penetrations with or without pressurised water for up to a 2 m water column if the pipe is installed directly with commercially available expanding mortar. Shrink-free grouting mortars are unsuitable.

For proper backfilling of wall penetrations, a minimum concrete cover (a) of 40mm is recommended. Depending on the expanding mortar used, you can also reduce the annular gap (a). Always follow the manufacturer's specifications.

Any cavities in the masonry must be closed before applying the expanding mortar. It is necessary to ensure that the entire sealing collar is properly encased. Here, current best practice and the specifications of the expanding mortar manufacturer must be followed!
