The REHAU fire collar is designed for use with RAUTITAN flex, RAUPEX, and RAUTHERM S cross-linked polyethylene pipes. It can be installed horizontally (on the ceiling, at 200 mm) or vertically (on the wall, at 150 mm). In the event of a fire, according to DIN 4102 Part 11, Edition 12/85, the fire collar prevents smoke and flames from spreading to other rooms. The collar consists of two segments, each with a strap. It is made of expanded polystyrene and painted red.
